Poland’s pharma industry IT recruitment activity rises 5.1% in December 2022

Poland’s pharma industry registered a 5.1% rise in IT hiring activity in December 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.33% in December 2022 when compared with November 2022.

Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 12.71% share in December 2022, recording a decrease of 0.46% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in December 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry in December 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 42.11% in December 2022, registering an 84.62% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 35.09% share, an increase of 122.22% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.79%, registering a 10% decline from November 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 7.02%, up 300% over the previous month.

Top five pharma companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in December 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 112% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s pharma industry during December 2022 over November 2022.

AstraZeneca posted 25 IT jobs in December 2022 and registered a rise of 150% over the previous month, followed by PSI CRO with 10 jobs and a 42.86% growth. F. Hoffmann-La Roche with 6 IT jobs and GSK with 6 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while CompuGroup Medical SE & Co recorded a flat growth with 6 job postings during December 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.19%, up by 76% from November 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.79% share, registered an increase of 80% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 5.26% share, down 57.14% over November 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.75%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
