How can digital and AI optimise the delivery of patient support programs in cancer?

Oncology patient support programs (PSPs) hold great promise for cancer patients, clinicians, and drug makers by providing patients with literature and resources that help them cope with their disease and treatment experiences. However, these PSPs often fall short of delivering the dynamic, responsive, and personalised experience that patients have come to expect in other areas of their lives – be it banking, entertainment, travelling, or even news. This raises questions about the suitability and sustainability of legacy approaches to implementing oncology PSPs in an increasingly digitised healthcare system against a backdrop of evolving patient expectations.

With the recent emergence of digital and AI-native platforms like Vinehealth, the opportunity exists for oncology PSPs to embrace innovative approaches that meet the interests and needs of the individual cancer patient, but at the scale of an NHS Trust, networks of cancer facilities, or even national populations across tumour types and care pathways. Join us to learn about the pivotal role oncology PSPs can continue to play in cancer care, and the opportunities and challenges AI-powered digital cancer support platforms present to clinicians and drug makers. How close is the vision and promise to reality, and how can you tap into these next-generation digital oncology platforms to create and deliver value for your patients and your organisation?
