Event Overview:
Fewer than 60% of Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) electronic benefit verifications (eBVs) provide accurate assessments of patients’ financial responsibilities, primarily due to the widespread industry practice of relying on artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for estimation. This inaccuracy has resulted in financial barriers for patients, increased burdens on Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) and Hubs, and hesitance among healthcare providers (HCPs) to prescribe therapy.
In this Pharmaceutical Executive-hosted webinar, EVERSANA’s experts, along with a guest speaker, will tackle the obstacles tied to eBV. They will delve into an innovative approach that melds a unique system of product archetypes, proprietary software, automated business logic, and direct, strategic payer relationships to enhance price transparency and grant each stakeholder access to an online, self-service platform.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Learn how to provide patients, HCPs, and office staff access to digital, self-service experience that integrates PBM and Major Medical and enables verification of patient benefits in seconds with as few as five inputs.
- Explore the power of automation, data, and actionable insights to assess if patients are eligible for copay support and apply specific copay offerings and empower field reimbursement managers (FRMs) to reduce patient wait times and delays in therapy initiation.
- Understand how to achieve a reduction in time spent tracking down individual patient data and submitting verifications through patient hubs and a 50% reduction in time to complete annual and monthly reverification while avoiding traditional reverification staffing increases.
