Social media posts on internet of things decreased in the pharma industry in Q1 2023

Notably, Covid-19 was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q1 2023, ranking highest in terms of mentions ahead of innovation and artificial intelligence, according to GlobalData.

Of the 50 leading companies in the pharma industry, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had the most mentions of internet of things in Q1 2023. GlobalData identified 401 internet of things-related posts in the industry’s social media activity – 0.03% of all posts – and a decrease of 9% in Q1 2023 compared with Q4 2022.
